Riverfront Park, 1061 Everglades Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405
Charleston Beer Fest is back and expanding even further with more breweries, more music, bigger acts, more food and more games and activities! Join us at Riverfront Park in North Charleston for the best beer festival in the Lowcountry – all for a great cause, helping those living with HIV/AIDS here in our community.
For nearly 33 years, Palmetto Community Care has made it our mission to assist those living with HIV and AIDS by providing a full spectrum of compassionate care and supportive services while busting myths, breaking down barriers, and inspiring hope. We are constantly working toward ending the HIV epidemic through increased HIV testing, prevention, and education.
Drink Beer. Do Good. is more than just a catchphrase to us . Last year our case managers had over 21,000 contacts with clients. They assisted 594 people in finding stable housing, 481 in finding oral or primary health care, and 527 with emergency financial assistance and food bank-delivered meals. We also paid more than $5.6 million for life-saving medications and $1 million to provide health insurance for our clients.
Those are just a few examples of what it means when we say, “Drink Beer. Do Good.” Charleston Beerfest is our primary fundraiser in helping us ensure that no one living with HIV or AIDS should go without medical care, everyday resources, and emotional support.

in the last weekA beautiful place to come and visit if you want a little piece and quiet, but it all depends on the time and the day you come. I came on a Monday round 2:30 or 3 PM it was nice, not a lot of people. I walked a little, sat down on my walker on the dock to look at the ocean and listen to the sound of the ocean. I was out there just to get a piece of mind.
