The food and service was wonderful. I had the avocado toast and my husband had the breakfast burrito. The avocado toast came with 2 large pieces of sourdough, arugula, hard boiled egg, balsamic, and just the right amount of sea salt and also came with a side. I had the grits with cheese and didn’t have to doctor them at all. My husband’s burrito came with a homemade salsa that had a beautiful rich color and chunks of tomatoes. Our server was so attentive and helpful. In from out of town but will recommend and will be back again.
I’ve come in to eat here a couple times and ordered pickup a few more times, and it’s remarkably inconsistent with the food quality. Even when you schedule ahead, they make you wait about 5 min just to get your food. While I was waiting, a woman told me how she had gotten raw French toast last time she was there. This visit, they forgot my $3 slice of American cheese with scrambled eggs, the ratio of food price to food quality isn’t worth it. A two egg breakfast from Waffle House could be just as good and much cheaper.
