A coastal-inspired, waterfront restaurant from the award-winning Indigo Road Hospitality Group.
The Kingstide is Daniel Island’s first and only waterfront restaurant. Boasting a pristine setting along the Wando River’s meandering waterways, the beautifully appointed two-story space features an abundance of windows that maximize natural light and picturesque views. Envisioned and executed by renowned Charleston-based Cortney Bishop Design, The Kingstide’s rustic yet refined interiors offer a nautical nod that goes beyond coastal expectations.
The menu offers a variety of seafood dishes thoughtfully presented in both raw and wood-fired preparations. Inspired by the beautifully simple flavors of the sea, The Kingstide partners with local and regional fisheries, farmers, and purveyors to showcase the Lowcountry’s bounty through fresh, seasonally driven cuisine.

in the last weekSean was an amazing waiter! The food was superb as expected. Kingstide was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint, however, the shining star was Sean. He is an excellent asset to Kingstide!

in the last weekWe had the blackened Grouper, sore fish and pork chop; all delicious. Wood grilled kale salad was pleasantly nicely done. The She Crap soup was too creamy for me. Manager came/brought Brussel sprouts on the house and was done very well. Had great time.

in the last weekWe had another fantastic dining experience at The Kingstide. This time we sat downstairs, which offered a great atmosphere. Our waiter was truly exceptional. The service was one of the highlights of the evening. As always, the food was excellent. We ordered one of the seafood towers, which featured a really fresh and delicious crab. The short ribs from the specials menu were truly amazing, tender and perfectly seasoned. We also loved the seasonal vegetables, which are always a reliably delicious side dish here. My only minor note was that the she crab soup had a little too much sherry for my taste, but it was still well-made. For dessert, the crunch bar was an absolute pleasure—a perfect end to the meal. We enjoyed everything and will definitely be back again.

a week agoMy fiancé and I had a dinner reservation here on the day we got engaged. Not only were the food and drinks AMAZING, but the staff were so sweet and made us feel special on an exciting day! Will definitely come back here next time we are in the area.
