    Viva Tacos has potential, but is clearly not realizing it. The decor and atmosphere was promising, but the food was bland and the meat and vegetables were slightly overdone and under-seasoned. The taste was reminiscent of ordering the Mexican option at Applebees. I have no complaints about the service, but was not blown away by it either. As a DI resident, I was hoping for better, but will be striking this from my list.

    Viva Tacos & Tequila on Daniel Island is hands down one of our favorite restaurants! The food is always top-notch, the service is amazing, and the bartenders are absolute rockstars. The vibe is fun, welcoming, and perfect for any occasion, we’ve celebrated birthdays here, watched football with friends and family, and even brought clients for lunch. It’s also our go-to spot before and after concerts or for a great family dinner. Every single thing on the menu is delicious, and the consistency never disappoints. Huge shout out to the manager Juan and the entire staff, they work so hard and are always so attentive to their customers. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would!
